Diverse Flying Options
Our members fly a wide and wild diverse assortment of RC aircraft. You'll find us flying combat, scale, power, 3D, sailplanes, slope, DLG, helicopters, drones, FPV, and more.
Because of this, AAGMC has four outdoor flying sites. Our main field is near Lodi, OH, and it works for most of our flying interests. The other three sites are specifically for slope aircraft, which is rare in most clubs here in Northeast Ohio.
Membership not only gives you access to these sites but access to a group of fellow pilots with decades of RC experience. Our club also organizes numerous indoor flight events through out the year!
Dues
AAGMC annual membership for adults is $100 per year. Junior (18 and younger) memberships are $20 per year, with the first year free if an adult family member is also a member. All members are also required to be Academy of Model Aeronautics members. You can learn more about the AMA at: https://join.modelaircraft.org
While there are many valuable benefits to belonging to the AMA, the primary benefit is $2,500,000 in personal liability insurance coverage, protecting you from claims made against you for personal injury or property damage.
